The two dated codes
JZRJ3-BWJ3C-K6JJ5-T3BJJ-CFR59 — posted by Randy Pitchford on October 21 at 7:25 PM UTC with an October 27 end date, redeemable in-game or at shift.gearbox.com. The post itself names Golden Keys as the reward without a count; the 3-Golden-Key quantity is reported by MentalMars and GamesRadar, the attribution our snapshot follows.
CS5BT-STF9R-B9KSW-ZBJ33-BZHZF — posted by 2K Japan on October 23 at 3:00 AM UTC, written in Claptrap's voice. The notice gives the deadline as “10月30日(金) 0:00まで” — October 30 (Friday) at 0:00 — without naming a timezone. Because the account is Japanese, our snapshot conservatively reads that as JST and archives the code at October 29, 15:00 UTC. MentalMars lists the reward as 1 Golden Key.
How to redeem before the window closes
- Open the official SHiFT rewards page or the in-game SHiFT menu, signed in to the account linked to the platform you play on.
- Paste the entire 25-character code, including the dashes, exactly as printed above.
- Read the actual result. “Already redeemed” means check your reward history, not retry.
- If it says expired or invalid, compare the code and deadline — MentalMars notes some listings require a linked 2K account, and a listing without a stated deadline can still be withdrawn without notice.
Codes are platform-universal per the community lists, but a listing is evidence, not a guarantee: reward counts come from MentalMars and GamesRadar for JZRJ3, and from MentalMars alone for CS5BT — not from the official posts, and Gearbox can end a code early. The full dated table, including everything with no listed deadline, lives on the SHiFT code snapshot and the expiry timeline.
October's drop rhythm
JZRJ3 is the fourth and CS5BT the fifth dated Golden Key drop this month: earlier codes ended October 6, October 13 and October 20, each carrying 3 keys and each now archived. The working pattern — editorial read, not an official schedule — is one short-window code roughly per week, usually from an official X account, with the longer-lived undated codes (CSKJJ, WZ53T and the permanent 1-key drops) staying up between them. When JZRJ3 lapses on October 27, watch for the next drop in that gap rather than assuming the undated rows gained a deadline.
Every change to the snapshot is logged in the updates timeline, including today's October 25 source check that added both codes.
