The Divisioner is one of the Order Warden bosses in Borderlands 4 and a clean, farmable source of three dedicated legendaries. We are an unofficial fan site; the location, mechanic and drops below are sourced from official patch notes and community boss guides (MentalMars, Fextralife) and checked for v1.6.

Type: World boss (Order Warden)
Region: The Wireworks Order Bunker, The Low Leys, Terminus Range
Farmable: Yes — respawn via Moxxi's Big Encore Machine outside the arena
Bring: One shock weapon and one corrosive weapon

How to reach the Divisioner

Fast Travel to the Heritage Opus Safe House, jump off the cliff to the east, then drive north over the bridge toward the Bunker. (You can also drop in from the Nightcap Safe House to the south, but that route crosses an Order roadblock.) You glide in toward the entrance from the opposite hill.

The decoy shield mechanic

The Divisioner is an Order Warden, so it leans on its shield. The fight has one core trick:

  1. Drain the shield with shock damage. Shock strips Order shields fastest.
  2. It summons decoys. When the shield breaks it spawns multiple decoys, recognisable by their glow and blue health bars.
  3. Kill a decoy to expose the boss. A defeated decoy fires a projectile that bypasses the Divisioner’s shield and chunks its armor — though a decoy projectile can’t land the killing blow.
  4. Finish with corrosive. Once the armor is exposed, corrosive damage tears through it.

The arena has cover to break line of sight, and two drones you can hit for a Second Wind if you go down.

Weaknesses

  • Shield: Shock
  • Armor: Corrosive

Run both elements. A shock weapon to open the fight and a corrosive weapon to close it is the whole gameplan.

Drops

Each is a dedicated drop at roughly 9% (+2% per Ultimate Vault Hunter Rank):

  • Inkling — Legendary heavy weapon
  • Principal — Legendary armor
  • Sideshow — Legendary pistol

Element and exact card stats vary by drop and scale with your level, so verify those on your own copy. Because the Divisioner respawns via Moxxi’s Big Encore Machine, it’s an efficient back-to-back farm.
